Kate Boswell

Watercolour artist Kate Boswell grew up in Auckland, and after 5 years living overseas in Scotland and England she returned to her home land. 

"After 10 years in Auckland, and two children later, my husband and I decided we wanted to have a 'gap year' away from the big smoke, so the four of us moved to Wānaka in 2020, and loved it so much we have decided to stay! The mountains and lake are a constant source of inspiration, and I think Wanaka is the perfect place to live as a landscape artist. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts, from Canterbury University, and have previously worked as a Textile designer, and Graphic designer. Through my art I seek to showcase the beauty of New Zealand’s natural landscapes — the lakes, coasts, hillsides, mountains and sky."
